Institutional Arrangements
- Composed of 12 members serving in their individual capacity
- Members are nominated by the 5 UN regional groups and small island developing states
- Reflect competence relating to oversight of international agreements, and in particular climate change agreements
- Supported by an expert team providing technical advice
- Will report annually to the Conference of Parties (COP) serving as the Paris Agreement meeting of the parties
- COP provides general policies related to implementation and compliance
